Candidates who successfully complete a building-level educational leadership preparation program understand and demonstrate the capacity to promote the current and future success and well-being of each student and adult by applying the knowledge, skills, and commitments necessary to evaluate, develop, and implement coherent systems of curriculum, instruction, data systems, supports, and assessment.

EDL 273 - Roles and Responsibilities of an Instructional Leader

In this essay I discuss the roles and responsibilities of instructional leaders, emphasizing the fact that instruction is at the heart of all system improvement in schools.

EDL 273 - ISPP School Data Dive

I completed a data dive for my building using the Iowa School Performance Profile. This data was disaggregated into demographics and a variety of content categories that allowed me to identify areas of improvement for my building.
